To qualify for Jefferson Village, applicants must be 62 years of age or older, or be disabled (at least 18 years of age) and meet HUD’s income guidelines and requirements for subsidized housing. Jefferson Village is only allowed to take applicants who are at or below 50% of the area medium income. HUD determines these limits and updates them on an annual basis. Tenants pay 30% of their adjusted gross income including an allowance for utilities.
Downloadable applications can be submitted by email, mailed to the office or dropped off at the office during normal business hours. If you need an application mailed to you, please Contact Us and we will mail you the necessary paperwork.
You can also apply online. Once you submit your application you will receive a waiting list control number along with a registration code to create an account within the Applicant Portal. Creating an account is not required but by doing so it will enable you to update your application, see your position on the waiting list and upload required documents to the leasing office.
